Lexus LFA Concept

The Lexus LF line is a series of concept cars created by the Lexus division of Toyota Motor Corporation. The "LF" stands for L-Finesse, a new design approach adopted by Lexus. LF-AThe LF-A is a two-door concept car from Toyota that is part of the Lexus brand. Its engine, whether 5-liter or smaller, produces over 500 horsepower (373 kW), which is enough to reach a top speed of roughly 200 mph (322 km/h). It was first showcased at the 2005 North American International Auto Show. Toyota later decided to give the idea of the LF-A concept car the go ahead for production. Testing at the Nürburgring has revealed prototypes of the LF-A with V8 engines, which will place the car in the same competitive arena as the Lamborghini Gallardo and Porsche Carrera GT. Expectations are that the price will be well above the $100,000 mark. LF-CThe Lexus LF-C was introduced to the public at the 2004 New York Auto Show. The LF-C features a V8 engine. Speculation suggests that the LF-C is indicative of the design for the next-generation Lexus SC. It is also possible that the concept car could hint at a convertible edition of the IS250/350.
