The Lexus LF line is a series of concept cars designed by the Lexus division of Toyota Motor Corporation. The name "LF" stands for L-Finesse, a new aesthetic for Lexus vehicles. LF-A Lexus showcased the LF-A at the 2005 North American International Auto Show. The concept car is a 2-door boasting a high-power engine despite its small size. Reports suggest that the engine has the capacity to produce over 500 horsepower (373 kW) with a top speed of around 200 miles per hour (322 km/h). Following the presentation of the LF-A concept, Toyota green-lighted production, with prototypes being tested at the Nürburgring. Production LF-A's are thought to come with V8 engines, putting it into competition with the Lamborghini Gallardo and Porsche Carrera GT. The expected pricing for the model is anticipated to exceed $100,000. LF-C The Lexus LF-C was unveiled at the 2004 New York Auto Show, equipped with a V8 engine. It is suspected that the LF-C's design alludes to the direction of the future Lexus SC model, as well as a potential convertible version of the IS250/350.
