Lexus LS430

The Lexus LS (sold as the Toyota Celsior in Japan, Australia, and some other countries.) was the top of the line V8-powered, rear wheel drive luxury car belonging to Toyota's Lexus division.

First generation (UF10)

UF10 I (1989)

The debut of the UF10 I LS 400 in 1989 marked the arrival of the Lexus brand in the US, immediately winning many accolades including Wheels Magazine's Car of the Year and Car and Driver magazine's Ten Best list in 1990. At the same time, the LS 400 was sold alongside Toyota's entry-level luxury car, the ES 250, which was based on the Toyota Camry.

UF10 II (1993)

The second edition of the LS 400 to be released, the UF10 II model came out in 1993 with an array of enhanced features such as larger brake rotors, standard passenger's side front airbags, larger wheels and tires, and several other upgrades.

Second generation (UF20)

UF20 III (1995)

The UF20 III LS 400 was introduced in 1995 with a lighter body that reduced the gross weight of the car by 300 lb. Besides a longer wheelbase that added more interior and trunk space, the car also featured an updated front fascia with increased gap between the headlights and grille, new headlights and taillights, and a slightly tweaked dashboard and center console.
