UF10 I (1989)

The UF10 I LS 400 was released from 1989 to 1994 and was the model that brought the Lexus nameplate to the US. Soon after, it won critical acclaim, being named Wheels magazine's Car of the Year and was included on Car and Driver magazine's Ten Best list for 1990. Originally intended to be a standalone model for Lexus, it ultimately was sold alongside the ES 250, an entry-level luxury car that was based on the Toyota Camry.

UF10 II (1993)

The LS 400 (now known as the UF10 II) was upgraded for the 1993 model year. It featured bigger brake rotors, standard-fitted passenger's side front airbags, larger tires and wheels, and various other improvements.
