Lexus LS430 [EU]
The Lexus LS (known as the Toyota Celsior in other countries) is the V8-powered, rear wheel drive flagship of the Lexus luxury division. The model's first generation, UF10 I, was introduced in 1989. It quickly won critical acclaim, earning Wheels magazine's Car of the Year and recognition as one of Car and Driver magazine's Ten Best for 1990. The LS 400 originally was intended to stand alone, but was eventually accompanied by the entry-level luxury car(base on the Toyota Camry) ES 250.
For the 1993 model year (designated as UF10 II) the LS 400 was updated with larger brake rotors, standard passenger's front airbag, larger wheels and tires, and other upgrades.
The second generation (UF20 III) was unveiled in 1995 with a lighter body, an increased wheelbase, added interior/trunk space, improved brake system, cosmetic revisions, and a modernized dashboard/center console. The 1998 model year (UF20 IV) featured minor tweaks from the previous version.
