Lexus LS430 [EU]

The Lexus LS430 (available as the Toyota Celsior in Japan, Australia, and a few other countries) is a luxury vehicle that is powered by a V8 engine and runs on rear-wheel drive. As the flagship model of Toyota's luxury Lexus division, this car has won a great deal of praise throughout its lifetime.

First generation (UF10)

UF10 I (1989)

The initial UF10 LS 400 was made from 1989 to 1994. It was the first Lexus model available in the US and was acknowledged as Wheels magazine's Car of the Year and even made Car and Driver magazine's prestigious Ten Best list for 1990. Originally, the LS 400 was planned to be released as an individual model, yet it was eventually revealed alongside the ES 250, a budget-friendly luxury car based off the Toyota Camry.

UF10 II (1993)

For the 1993 year, the LS 400 (now noted as the UF10 II) was given a range of improvements, such as larger brake rotors, airbags, bigger wheels and tires, and other features.

Second generation (UF20)

UF20 III (1995)

Overviewing the UF20 III LS 400 in 1995, a new body was created that cut down the car's weight by 300 lb. The wheelbase length was extended by 1.4 inches, increasing the interior and trunk space while the body length stayed at 196.7 inches. It also reinforced the car's braking system.

On the outside, the LS 400 gained a revamped front facade with further space between the grille and the headlights. At the same time, the headlights and tail lights gained updates, while the cabin interior had a more modern dashboard and a minor alteration to the center console.
