Lexus SC430
The Lexus SC series is an iconic personal luxury coupé designed by Toyota Motor Corporation's Lexus brand. The SC 300 and SC 400 have been in production from 1991 to 2000.
In 2000, Lexus unveiled the SC 430 at the Paris Motorshow, and began manufacturing the model the following year. It is powered by a 4.3 L 3UZ-FE V8 engine that is connected to a five-speed automatic transmission. This packs enough power to accelerate from 0-60 in around 6 seconds, utilizing the same engine used in the Lexus LS.
The exterior of the Lexus SC430 has been shaped with precision by a collaborative effort between designers from Japan and Europe, resulting in a sleek, retro-inspired convertible. It has an aluminium hardtop which is retractable, 18-alloy wheels, and a four-seat, all-leather cabin. The base price of the car is US$63,825.
