The Lotus Elise was already a great car, but Lotus is ready to take it to even higher heights. Set for release in 2015, the new Elise has been upgraded in every way. To start with, its bold, directional body with subtle hints of classic Elise provides a unique and fresh look.
Not only has the design been improved, the practicality of the car has too. entry and exit from the vehicle is far easier, ensuring the driving experience can remain fun and enjoyable. Dany Bahar, Chief Executive Officer of Group Lotus, commented on the upcoming changes: “The Elise 2015 will be class-leading in terms of performance and efficiency and it will take the Elise model to the forefront of its class across the board."
Just because the car has been upgraded, the exciting features of the original Elise are still present. Its light weight still helps it reach 0-100kph in under 4.5 seconds, and has been complemented with a 2.0 litre inline 4 pressure charged engine delivering up to 320 PS.
