Equipped with a 5.0 litre V8 pressure-charged engine that is capable of delivering up to 620 PS and 720 Nm of torque, the Lotus Esprit maintains its light weight design to offer an unrivaled driving experience. It provides an aggressive design, with an intense appearance created through a balance of symmetrical proportions. It truly enhances the new Lotus DNA.
This supremely exclusive supercar will start production at the end of 2012, with an expected market entry during the spring of 2013 and a price indication of circa £110,000. It features a 2 seater mid-engined, rear wheel drive layout, optional hybrid technology, KERS, 7-speed DCT transmission, a 0-100 km/h acceleration speed of 3.4 seconds, top speed of 330 km/h, and CO2/km emissions of 250g/km (with optional hybrid technology), and a weight of just 1,450kg.
