Maserati Trofeo Light
The Maserati Trofeo Light, a collaborative effort between the Modena-based racing department and Italtecnica, will be making its race debut in this weekend's Daytona 24 Hours - the first round of the American Grand-Am championship.
Two cars will be fielded by the Trident marque for the endurance race, which starts at 13h00 local time (19h00 C.E.T.) on Saturday, 31st January. The Risi Competizione team consists of Germany's Ralf Kelleners, American Anthony Lazzaro, and Italy's Matteo Bobbi. Scuderia Maserati of Washington's driver line-up consists of Italy's Fabrizio De Simone, as well as Americans Stephen Earle, Emil Assentato, and Nick Longhi.
This race car is based on the Coupe Cambiocorsa model used in the company's one make series.
