The new Mazda6 holds onto the athletic look of the previous model, but exterior design has been reimagined with exquisite build quality and a sense of form based on Japanese aesthetics. Longer, wider, taller and with a longer wheelbase, the Mazda6 sedan is 4,735 mm long (65 mm longer than the previous model), 1,795 mm wide (15 mm wider), 1,440 mm tall (5 mm taller) and its wheelbase is 2,725 mm (50 mm longer). The hatchback has the same dimensions as the sedan and a sleek roofline at the C-pillar for a coupe-like style. The estate measures 4,765 mm in length (75 mm longer), and is wider (1,795 mm + 15 mm) and slightly higher (1,490 mm + 10 mm) than before, featuring a kick-up belt line and stylish windows. Inside the new Mazda6, the atmosphere is roomier and inviting, with higher levels of quality materials and forms that look good and are easy to use. The driver-centric cockpit gives an immersive driving experience, with a floating-look instrument panel that creates a sense of spaciousness.
