Design
The chassis and suspension of the Axela were designed by Mazda and Ford on the global C1 platform, previously used for the European Ford Focus and Volvo S40. The exterior looks are based on the MX-Sportif concept car, and the Axela is available as a four-door sedan or a five-door hatchback. It is also equipped with MacPherson struts, rear suspension with Ford's "E-link", four locating links for each wheel and anti-roll bar. Disc brakes, either 300 mm (11.8 in) in the front and 279 mm (11 in) in the rear, are fitted as standard and ABS and electronic brake force distribution can be added depending of the model. Its wheel and tire sizes range from 15 in (381 mm) for the basic models to 17 in (432 mm) optional on the upper-level’s ones.Decorate your home and office with the finest Mazda 3 Sedan 2004 accessories.
