Exterior Design
The redesigned fog lamps bezels are more pointed and lowing, with each containing a round fog lamp inside a lowing lower lid. The headlamps have also been redesigned, while the upper grille features a new winged Mazda logo, which is black on all grades and body-coloured on the Sports Grade. Character lines run up from the grille between the fenders and the bonnet to add to the athletic Mazda 6 front. The winged motifs from the front continue to the rear combination lamps, which come with chrome-plated winged decorations, making the lamps look wider and lowing further into the side panels. The lamps are made up of clear lenses and LEDs, too. The facelift also boasts stylish new 17- and 18-inch aluminium wheel designs, which twist slightly for a very sporty, three-dimensional look. Additionally, these wheels are one kilogram lighter than those of the previous model.
