The front of the Mazda 6 facelift has a more pointed fog lamp bezels and the lowing lower lid which forms an "inner eye" with the fog lamp at its center. There are newly- designed headlamps and a black-coloured upper grille with a winged Mazda logo, as well as character lines running up from the grille between the fenders and the bonnet. The rear of the car is enhanced with combination lamps featuring Chrome-plated winged decorations, clear lenses and LED lighting. The Mazda 6 facelift also features stylish 17- and 18-inch aluminium wheel designs with a three-dimensional look, providing the silhouette with a premium look while being a kilogram lighter than the wheels of the previous model.
