Mazda 6 Wagon Facelift
The exterior of the Mazda 6 Wagon Facelift has a new front grille design, new front and rear bumpers, and new black bezels for the front and rear lights. With two 2.0 and 2.3-litre petrol exhaust pipes and new 16, 17, and 18-inch alloys, the exterior of the Facelift is gleaming with features. It also has fog lamps, and a Sports Appearance Package.
The interior of the Facelift is just as fulfilled with features. Interior features include new trim materials, with thicker armrest material, a new meter cluster bezel, door handles for the front and rear, and a dark titanium colored center panel.
Comfort and entertainment features include a single CD player, automatic power rear windows, an advanced keyless entry system, retractable key with global closing, burglar alarm system, semi-bucket front seats, depending on the grade, a driver seat position memory system, as well as improved insulation, vibration damping and reinforcements for a less noisy cabin.
The powertrain of the Facelift includes a refined 2.0-litre common-rail turbo diesel engines with a diesel particulate filter system standard for the diesel engines, as well as refined 1.8-litre, 2.0-litre, and 2.3-litre petrol engines. It also has a new six-speed manual transmission for the diesel and 2.0/2.3-litre petrols, and a new five-speed Activematic transmission for the 2.0/2.3-litre petrols.
As for the chassis, the Facelift has enlarged disc brakes (320 mm front/314 mm rear) for the optional 18-inch alloy wheels for the 2.3-litre petrol, and retuned front and rear suspension bushings.
In terms of safety, the Facelift has increased A- and B-pillar rigidity and strength, new body reinforcements, new outer door panel reinforcements and door pad, a thick front frame reinforcement, rain-sensing wiper system, an auto light system, seat belt reminders and indicators for the rear seat.
