Mazda BT-50

Since its launch in 2006, the Mazda BT-50 pickup has been widely popular. This tough yet sophisticated-looking lifestyle vehicle can take on any task, whether it’s carrying bricks to a construction site or a surfboard to the beach, and always looks good when it's cleaned up. It appeals to a wide range of people, from those living in rural areas of Europe or Asia, to firemen in Greece, to young, sporty urbanites. Since launch, Mazda has sold over 60,000 units globally (over 19,000 in Europe) and won various awards, such as Ute of the Year in Australia and Off-road Competition's Car of the Year in Russia. Mazda now introduces a facelift version of the Mazda BT-50 with updates that bolster its attractive features without detracting from the original model. It looks even tougher and more stylish with design cues to suggest its high performance capabilities. The interior has been enhanced with new equipment to meet the demands of a wider audience. Exterior updates for higher quality look and more choice The Mazda BT-50 facelift can handle whatever users put to it. It still has three cab versions, with space for two (Regular Cab), four (Freestyle Cab) or five passengers (Double Cab) and cargo box lengths of 2,280 mm, 1,753 mm or 1,530 mm respectively. The single-fascia front bumper has also been updated, with a large 'oblique H' and upper arms extending from the bonnet's character lines, and lower arms at the base of the lower bumper. This creates a strong, unified Mazda family face, with the five-point grille more distinct and trapezoidal shapes of lower openings alluding to the pickup's high level of dynamism. Furthermore, new front headlamps with bright silver mouldings make the front end appear wider, giving it a muscular, stylish appearance.
