Mazda RX7

The first model of this iconic car, the Series 6 (1992-1995), was sold worldwide, featuring the highest sales in Japan under the name Efini RX-7. It was only available in the US and Canada from 1993-1995. The second series, the Series 7 (1996-1998), offered minor changes such as a simplified vacuum routing manifold and a 16-bit ECU with an additional 10 hp. It was sold in Japan, Australia, New Zealand and the UK, where it was only available in right-hand-drive configuration. The final series, Series 8 (January 1999-August 2002), was offered in European and Australian markets. It included more efficient turbochargers, improved intercooling and radiator cooling, and cosmetic changes. The Type RS Version included a Bilstein suspension, 17" wheels and power of 276 hp (208 kW). Equally impressive was the Type RZ, which featured BBS wheels, a custom red racing interior, and more efficient ECU and ABS. Finally, the 1,500 units consisting of the limited-run "Spirit R" were released, with 1,000 of those being "Spirit A" models featuring a 5-speed manual transmission and better performance compared to the other two, the "Spirit B" and "Spirit C", both four-seaters with the former offering a 5-speed manual transmission and the latter a 4-speed automatic.
