Mercedes-Benz has introduced a series of inter-related compact cars, starting with the launch of the all-new B-Class. Bearing the same name as its predecessor, the new B-Class model is based on entirely different architecture, powered by advanced four-cylinder direct-injection BlueEFFICIENCY petrol and diesel engines, and it is outfitted with a multi-link rear suspension for extra agility. Its aerodynamic shape and optional ECO package reduces fuel consumption, while the cabin offers improved materials and trim quality with topnotch safety and connectivity features.
The Mercedes-Benz B-Class hit the market with 14 trim levels, four engines, two transmissions, and two trim levels. Prices range from £21,295 for the B 180 SE manual, to £26,160 for the B 200 CDI Sport with the new Mercedes-Benz seven-speed 7G-DCT (dual-clutch transmission). The B 200 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY Sport is the most fuel-efficient model, offering up to 64.2 mpg (combined) and CO2 emissions of only 115g/km when equipped with the SE manual variant.
