The Mercedes-Benz BlueZero E-Cell Plus Concept combines electric mobility in the city with a truly unrestricted travel capability. This is made possible by the smooth blending of the battery-electric drive system and a combustion engine. With this setup, the car can cover up to 600 km, of which 100 km is conducted on electric power with zero emissions.
This electric car from Mercedes-Benz is a modular construction, making it flexible to suit customer needs for sustainable mobility in the future. This particular concept goes one step further, with a 50 kW three-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine backing up the electric motor on the rear axle. The resulting 32 grams of CO2 per kilometre makes this a very environmentally friendly ride.
