Just a few months after the saloon's introduction, Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the C-Class Estate. This estate car enhances the quality traits of the saloon - such as safety, agility and comfort - and provides far greater space and versatility. With a maximum cargo capacity of 1500 litres - larger than any other premium estate of its kind - the new C-Class Estate boasts loads of convenient features to facilitate loading and secure transport, like the button-operated automated tailgate. Compared to its predecessor, the new estate results in 12% less fuel consumption with an NEDC consumption rating of 6.0 litres/100 km and a range of 1000+ kilometres per tank (66 litres). As is the case with the saloon, this estate has attained Euopean Environmental Certificate services, confirming the compliance with the international ISO standard. Additionally, the C-Class Estate is a frontrunner in safety with innovations like PRE-SAFE® and Intelligent Light System, and is the winner of safety in this vehicle class. The standard features include seven airbags, belt tensioners, belt force limiters, and crash-responsive NECK-PRO head restraints.
