Mercedes-Benz CL-Class AMG styling
For the new CL-Class, the ultimate luxury coupé, Mercedes-AMG has developed two AMG optional extras: a powerful AMG bodystyling package and expressive 19-inch AMG light-alloy wheels with mixed-width tyres. Both are designed to enhance the distinctive look of the vehicle.
The AMG bodystyling consists of a front and rear apron, as well as side skirts, completely redesigned for a more athletic look. The front bumper features enlarged air intakes and chrome-ringed circular fog lamps, and two slanted struts create a sense of width. The side skirts carry on with the muscular lines through to the rear apron, with the rear bumper finished with a black insert and chrome trim strip.
The 19-inch AMG light-alloy wheels deliver both optimal handling and a commanding presence. Six-spoke wheels with embossed AMG lettering provide a high-sheen rim flange, and the 8.5/9.5-inch-wide wheels are fitted with 255/40 (front) and 275/40 (rear) tyres, emphasizing the vehicle's design.
Both the AMG bodystyling and the AMG light-alloy wheels are available for the CL 500 eight-cylinder and the V12 CL 600 model. Pre-orders are being taken, with market launch in September 2020, and the ex-factory prices for each are EUR 5,336 (AMG bodystyling package) and EUR 3,132/EUR 1,972 (AMG light-alloy wheels; all figures include 16 % VAT).
