Mercedes-Benz CLK320 Cabriolet

The Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class was a series of mid-size luxury coupés and convertibles available in two generations. The CLK-Class was positioned below the CL-Class and SL-Class, but above the SLK-Class. The CLK-Class' design and styling was derived from the E-Class, while the mechanical architecture was derived from the C-Class. Following its introduction in 1997, the CLK range comprised of the four-cylinder CLK 200, four-cylinder supercharged CLK230 Kompressor, and the V6-powered CLK 320. The CLK GTR FIA GT1 racing car made its appearance in 1998, while the CLK 430 with its 4.3-L V8 powertrain and the CLK 320 Cabriolet were released in 1999. In 2000, a face lift was released, offering updates to the instrument cluster, steering wheel, bumpers, and side skirts. In 2009, Mercedes switched back to using the E-Class Coupe/Convertible designation, ending the use of the CLK moniker.
