The Mercedes-Benz CLS has been fine-tuned to give it an added appeal, with a sophisticated V6 power unit that develops 170 kW/231 hp. The new entry-level model further showcases its self-assurance with a modified radiator grille that has two louvres instead of the previous four. The exterior mirrors have also been redesigned with LED side indicator lamps that are arranged like an arrow.
The side view is dominated by new and attractively styled light-alloy wheels measuring either 17 inches or 18 inches in diameter. At the rear, the CLS is further made attractive with a new rear apron, new tail lights, as well as modified tailpipes which are now trapezoidal-shaped. The use of LED technology for the tail lamps gives the CLS an eye-catching effect.
The flagship model in the range - the CLS 63 AMG - now comes with 19-inch AMG light-alloy wheels plus a new AMG sports exhaust system to offer an even more masterful look. Furthermore, the deactivation function for the low-beam headlamps when the ignition is switched off helps to optimise energy management.
