Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe

The Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe (W124) was produced from 1986 to 1995. It is the successor to the series W123 and was eventually followed by the W210. The W124 models are mid-sized luxury vehicles that were developed to the highest level. History The saloon and estate versions of the W124 feature a self-levelling rear suspension with gas-pressurised spheres. Unlike other cars, Mercedes used springs in addition to struts for their suspension. The estate cars came in either 5- or 7-seat models, the 7-seater featuring a rear-facing bench seat plus a split rear seat that folds flat to give a generous load area. To make loading and unloading easier, the W124 estate cars have a retractable luggage compartment cover and retratable cargo net. The W124 estate was in production for more than a year after the W210 was available.
