Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG

The Mercedes-Benz W210 is a mid-size luxury car/executive car that was produced by German automaker Mercedes-Benz from 1996 to 2002. Part of the E-Class family, the W210 represented a new era for Mercedes-Benz as they sought to attract a younger market segment. The E320 was the best-seller in the series, boasting a 0-60 mph (98 km/h) time of just 6.9 seconds thanks to the M112 V6 engine. In Europe, the diesel E-class models were replaced by advanced Common Rail (CDI) units, while North America saw the introduction of two E300 diesel engine models – non-turbocharged (1996-1997) and turbocharged (1998-1999) 3.0 litre straight-6 units. In 2000, Mercedes-Benz ended production of diesel powertrains in the E-class for North America.
