The all-new Mitsubishi Outlander, an upgraded version of the previous model introduced in
2007, boasts features usually found in high-end sport-utility vehicles. Options include a hard drive navigation system, a powerful Rockford-Fosgate® Premium Audio system, SIRIUS® satellite radio with a six-month pre-paid subscription, and Bluetooth® for hands-free calling. Newly introduced for 2008, the Outlander is available in four trim lines: the 4-cylinder ES and Special Edition models, and the V-6-powered LS and XLS models. Standard on the Special Edition and LS models is the FAST Key entry system that allows passive vehicle unlocking and engine start/stop. The LS and XLS models also come standard with an MP3/auxiliary input jack, while the LS 4WD model adds heated exterior mirrors.
FAST-Key Entry
Mitsubishi Outlander ES models include a standard remote keyless entry system, plus an anti-theft engine immobilizer and security alarm. Outlanders of the Special Edition, LS and XLS varieties come equipped with FAST-Key, allowing the driver to unlock the vehicle just by having the remote nearby and touching one of the front doors or the tailgate handle.
