Mitsubishi's Raider mid-size pickup truck has received the Best in Class Vehicle Satisfaction Award (VSA) from the renowned AutoPacific, Inc. consulting group and is now available as one extended-cab model and three Double Cab models for 2007. The focus on four-door Double Cab models demonstrates Raider's appeal as a versatile SUV. Its bold styling boasts signature design cues from Mitsubishi and conveys a tough energy. Three Raider models are included in the well-outfitted LS trim line: Extended Cab 2WD; Double Cab 2WD and Double Cab 4WD with a DuroCross edition. Across all models, the wheelbase is 131.3 inches and the bed size is either 6.4 feet or 5.3 feet. The Raider Double Cab has extensive interior space with seating for up to six people and offers 36.4 inches of rear leg room, while the Extended Cab has 32.1 inches of rear leg room. All models are initially outfitted with a 210-hp 3.7-liter SOHC V-6 engine combined with a six-speed manual transmission in the LS Extended Cab 2WD, and a four-speed automatic transmission in the others. A V-8 SE Double Cab model with a 4.7-liter, 235-hp V-8 will be available at a later date.
