The Nissan Actic was a concept car unveiled at the 2004 North American International Auto Show. It was designed by Nissan Design America, based in La Jolla, California. The vehicle had a crossover SUV style and smooth, bullet-shaped bodywork that resembled a small Nissan Murano.
The Actic concept was never meant for production, but as a showcase of potential Nissan technologies and designs. One of the most unique features of the car were its sliding doors. Unlike conventional hinged doors, the Actic's rear doors slide back and its front doors slide forward, creating a much larger opening and entry area.
