Nissan Altima Hybrid 2007 posters

Nissan Altima Hybrid

Making its North American debut at the 2007 Model Orange County Auto Show in Anaheim, California from October 4 - 8, 2006, the all-new 2007 Nissan Altima Hybrid marks Nissan's first foray into the hybrid gasoline/electric vehicle segment. Combining the style, convenience, comfort, quality feel and performance expertise of the next-generation Altima, the Hybrid grants drivers the benefits of exceptional fuel economy and reduced emissions. Powered by a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine, electronic Continuously Variable Transmission (eCVT) and electric motor/generator, the Altima Hybrid has an output of 198 horsepower (148 kW) and an average estimated fuel economy of 41 mpg City/36 mpg Highway. Categorised as an Advanced Technology-Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle (AT-PZEV), this Hybrid will become available in early 2007 across eight states, including California, New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont, Rhode Island, Maine and New Jersey - locations that notably have adopted California's emissions regulations. Accompanying the Altima Hybrid is the gasoline-powered Altima 2.5-liter 4-cylinder and 3.5-liter V6 models, which will debut in November 2006.
