Nissan Bevel Concept

The Nissan Bevel Concept offers a unique, function-inspired asymmetrical design, a high-utility three-zone interior and advanced technology such as glass roof-mounted solar panels and drive-by-wire steering, throttle and braking. It is also designed with the primary user in mind - male empty-nesters who are actively engaged in hobbies, recreation and community service. Bevel boasts two passenger-side doors which open to a wide 5ft.5in. and a tall one-piece rear hatch with a height of 6ft.2in. when raised. Also featured are two power outlets – one 12V outlet and one 110V power tool recharging outlet which is powered by the integrated solar cells. Inside, you'll find a comfortable leather-appointed fixed seat, a ribbon-mounted instrument panel that moves four inches forward and back when the door is opened or closed, and a "command central" technology zone with a series of screens. This zone also provides access to phone settings, weather and traffic reports, internet, personal emails, and music, as well as a home network feature allowing the driver to monitor locks and security system, and various settings. Furthermore, the Bevel provides maximum cargo space with fold-flat front passenger and rear bench seating and a smooth, continuous cargo floor/work area constructed from laminated recycled walnut. And for pets, there is a 360-degree pet leash swivel connection point and a large, removable "doggie hutch" pet carrier designed to fit securely into the rear cargo area. This concept vehicle is powered by a 2.5-liter V6 with HEV, promising a combination of driving pleasure and efficiency.
