The Fuga (Y50) is a full-size luxury vehicle manufactured by Nissan of Japan. It was first publicly unveiled as the Fuga Concept at the 2003 Tokyo Motor Show, and was designed as a direct replacement for the long-running Cedric and Gloria models. The Fuga is a rear wheel-drive sedan based on a stretched version of the Nissan FM platform, and can be fitted with either a 2.5-litre or 3.5-litre VQ-series V6 engine. Customers have the option of either the "XV" or "GT" trim packages that are the equivalent of the Cedric and Gloria's "Brougham" and "Gran Turismo" versions. The 3.5-litre option is available with all-wheel drive and enhanced features such as intelligent cruise control and four-wheel steering. In the United States, the Fuga is equipped with a 4.5-litre VK-series V8 engine and is marketed as the Infiniti M45, with the V6 option being released as the Infiniti M35.
