The Nissan GT-R SpecV is the latest model Nissan has to offer, and is set to go on sale at seven selected dealers in Japan on February 2nd, 2009. While the GT-R is already renowned for its amazing power, the SpecV has been specifically designed for the enthusiast driver who requires race car performance with street legality.
As well as the unique body, interior and performance equipment the GT-R is known for, the SpecV now includes a carbon fiber spoiler, grille and brake ducts, as well as a sleek Ultimate Black Opal body colour. Inside, the two seater is improved with Recaro carbon fiber bucket seats, and carbon fiber insets for the storage box, instrument panel and other areas.
Performance has been improved with a high gear boost control system that increases torque in the intermediate-to-high speed ranges giving the acceleration a more powerful feeling. The engine also runs more efficiently with a titanium-coated exhaust system and carbon-ceramic brakes for enhanced power. It is also fitted with Nissan Motorsport International (NISMO) forging-aluminum wheels for reduced unsprung weight, a special suspension and high-grip tires, creating the ultimate driving machine.
