The latest Nissan Micra, the fourth generation to carry the name, marks a new chapter in the history of the multi-award-winning compact city car. The new Micra comes with two 3-cylinder 1.2-litre petrol engines - one normally aspirated and the other with direct injection and supercharging, which offers up to 72kW (98PS) of power and only 95 g/km of CO2. Compared to a diesel engine, these petrol engines mean even lower emissions, without the added expense.
The range includes a 5-door body, two engine choices, and two transmission options - either a five-speed manual or a state-of-the-art CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission). The model line-up follows the usual Nissan system, with Visia, Acenta, and Tekna levels, which all come with power steering, air conditioning, electric front windows, and ESP (Electronic Stability Program) fitted as standard- a rare feature in this segment.
