The 2017 Nissan Pathfinder has been reborn with greater adventure capabilities, a more stylish exterior look, and improved safety and technology features. The new 3.5-liter V6 offers improved performance, boasting 284 horsepower and 259 lb-ft of torque - a notable upgrade from the 260 hp and 240 lb-ft of the previous model. Another highlight is the increased maximum towing capacity of 6,000 pounds (when properly equipped), up 1,000 pounds from the previous model.
On the exterior, the Nissan Pathfinder has adopted signature design elements such as the "V-Motion" grille and boomerang-shaped headlights with LED daytime running lights. Other features include a new front bumper, fog lights, and 18-inch and 20-inch aluminum-alloy wheels. The rear has also seen an upgrade with new taillight and bumper designs. Lastly, SL and Platinum grade models come with a Motion-Activated liftgate as standard. This liftgate has the additional convenience of a "liftgate position memory" feature that can be activated with a simple wave of the foot.
