Nissan Primera

In January 2001, Nissan introduced its third-generation Primera, a completely new car since the collaboration with Renault two years back. The Primera carries the signature of comfortable ride, strong build, and reliable performance in spite of its tweaked handling that promotes a smoother drive. Unfortunately, no Infiniti version was relased, with the Skyline-based Infiniti G35 taking its place in the United States. All New Zealand Primeras are installed with a Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT) as there is no manual option available. The CVT is also available on the European 2.0L and the Japanese 2.0/2.5L (absent in the European market). The Primera also marked a milestone as it was the very first production car to roll off with a rear view camera.
