Nissan Sentra 2004 posters

Nissan Sentra SE-R

The Nissan Sentra is a compact car that is primarily built for export to different markets. It began in Japan as the Nissan Sunny, and is known locally as the Bluebird Sylphy. This economical model is also manufactured for many other Asian countries under the name Nissan Pulsar. In the United States, the Sentra serves as Nissan's compact car and faces a range of competitors such as the Toyota Corolla. It provides one of the most expensive yet roomiest compact cars in the market and varies in price from $13,100 for the most basic to $21,305 for the up-market version. The B15 (2000-2006) generation of the Sentra saw a much-needed upgrade, both in terms of its exterior and interior. The new model, which was produced in the Mexican city of Aguascalientes, featured body-side moldings and clear headlights for a more polished look. Meanwhile, the interior design was more ergonomically friendly and was equipped with higher-quality plastics located in the seats and trim panels. In 2002, the SE-R was released, sporting an Altima-based 2.5L engine with 165 hp. It came in two varieties, the 5-speed manual transmission SE-R and the SE-R Spec-V, with a sixth-speed manual transmission and limited slip differential. This 175 hp version was given a minor facelift in 2004, although Nissan eliminated the stabilizer bar for the 1.8L models.
