Nissan Titan Single Cab
The new 2017 Nissan Titan XD and Titan Single Cab models mark the next chapter of Nissan's "Year of the Truck". The Single Cab is the first ever offering of its kind in the Titan history, and is designed to provide a robust and affordable entry to the commercial fleet and work truck marketplace. When the full roll-out of all Titan cab, bed, powertrain, and grade level configurations is completed, according to Rich Miller, Director of Product Planning for Trucks, SUVs and Commercial Vehicles, the all-new Titan family will cover approximately 85 percent of the light pickup market.
The Titan XD Single Cab and Titan Single Cab models will be equipped with the 5.6-liter Endurance V8 engine, while diesel options will feature an Aisin 6-speed automatic transmission. The Titan Single Cab also comes with the choice of 4x4 and 4x2 drive configurations, and the available grade levels include S and SV, as well as a number of optional equipment packages.
The new Titan Single Cab models will be assembled in Canton, Mississippi with the 5.6-liter V8 gasoline engine assembled in Decherd, Tennessee, and the 5.0-liter diesel engines are assembled by Cummins, Inc. in Columbus, Indiana. This innovative design and bed utility promises to bring Titan's renowned reputation to a broader set of buyers.
