Nissan Versa Sedan
The Nissan Versa is a subcompact vehicle developed for the North American market. It is the same as the Nissan Tiida sold all over the world, initially released on September 30, 2004. The Versa is comprised of a new Nissan B platform, which is shared by the Renault Clio, and it is available either as a sedan or a hatchback. It will occupy the role of the base model for Nissan in North America, while the Sentra is steadily progressing in terms of released models. Versas will be manufactured in Aguascalientes, Mexico, while the Tiida is made in Japan.
In addition, Nissan announced a Nismo-trim Versa which will have an upgraded suspension, a better wheel and tire package, plus some unique interior and exterior design cues.
