The Opel Meriva was a revolutionary addition to the minivan segment when it was first released in May 2003. As a result of its success, the Meriva has been firmly positioned at the top of the European market ever since. With the arrival of the new model the car receives a drastic redesign, additional engine and technology upgrades, plus an extended range of feature. The Meriva is now available with a high-performance variant known as the Meriva OPC, powered by a 180 turbo hp engine. Customers in Germany can purchase the spacious and multi-variable five-seater for a recommended retail price of 14,520 euros ex factory, including VAT.
The exterior of the Meriva incorporates the iconic Opel logo at the grille's wide chrome crossbar and an assertive design line, providing an indication of its exclusive technology. It also includes a unique interior versatility with FlexSpace, along with adaptive halogen curve and cornering light, and includes a Bluetooth interface and voice control. New engine models feature the 1.3 CDTI, high-tech entry-level diesel and a 1.6-liter with TWINPORT technology for an improved fuel efficiency. The interior also receives a host of upgrading, including fabric/leather or all-leather trim options.
