Opel Vectra Caravan OPC
Opel is launching two new high-performance vehicles, the Vectra OPC in the five-door hatchback version and the Vectra station wagon OPC, to the midsize sports car category. These vehicles will feature a newly developed 2.8-litre V6 turbocharged engine with 188 kW/255 hp and a maximum torque of 355 Nm, powered by a six-speed manual transmission and driven by the front wheels. The Vectra OPC can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds (6.9 seconds for the station wagon), delivering a performance comparable to that of a sports car. The maximum speeds for the hatchback and the station wagon are 260 km/h and 254 km/h respectively. Its second-generation adaptive chassis control system, IDSPlus², further enhances the driving experience.
The OPC model has also been stylishly redesigned to emphasize its dynamic and sporty look. It features a deep front spoiler and tone-on-tone fog lamps in a spot-light design, complemented by large-sized light alloy wheels with a six-spoke OPC design, and accentuated door sills. Its rear end is marked by prominent bumpers with diffuser-like outlines, discrete spoilers as well as twin exhaust systems with trapezoidal tail pipes. Customers can select from four colours: Arden blue, star silver, sapphire black or magma red.
