Opel Vectra OPC Twin Turbo

The current Opel Vectra C model was introduced in the summer of 2002 and is manufactured in Germany, Belgium, the United Kingdom, and Egypt, where the two previous versions were also assembled. This vehicle is based on the GM Epsilon platform, and a four-door sedan serves as the main model. The five-door hatchback, known as the Vectra GTS, is an ode to the Commodore GTE from the 1970s. To meet the needs of the GTS model, the engine range was significantly altered. Starting from the base version, which is equipped with a 1.8 L Ecotec engine with 122 PS (90 kW), the lineup also features a 2.0 L turbocharged engine with 175 PS (129 kW) and a 3.2 L V6 with 211 PS (155 kW). Diesel engines manufactured by Isuzu (a 3.0 L V6) and Fiat (a 1.9 L with a potential of 150 PS, 110 kW) have also been incorporated. The Vectra underwent a facelift in late 2005. Additionally, the V6 engine was swapped for a 2.8 V6 Turbo from Australia, similar to the one used in the Saab 9-3, and the engine on the Saab was further improved to achieve 255 PS (188 kW), with a maximum speed of 250 km/h (155 mph). The Vectra is a mainstream model in the UK and a more upscale version in Australia, called the Holden Vectra ZC. A station wagon edition, referred to as the Caravan in Germany, was unveiled in 2003. Additionally, the same platform that underpins the Vectra is also used in the Saab 9-3 (Sweden) and the Chevrolet Malibu, Pontiac G6 and Saturn Aura (North America).
