Pagani Zonda R
The Zonda F was a remarkable car, easily driven with great comfort and safety, and highly desired for its quality finish and attention to detail. All 25 Coupé models sold out quickly, leaving our more extreme customers wanting additional performance. With one particular customer in mind, eager to drive on a race track without any intent of racing, the dream of the Zonda R was born.
The Zonda R was created from the ground up, with only 10% of the Zonda F components retained. It featured an engine with a power output of 750hp, dry sump, light and with a low centre of gravity, supported by Mercedes-AMG. The suspension was forged in Avional, as well as the carbon-fibre monocoque, aeronautical four pump fuel tank, and a brand-new Pagani six speed transversal sequential gearbox. With engines tested for over 5,000 km before servicing, the Zonda R was built with no exceptions for safety, and the utmost performance in mind.
