Peugeot 1007 D-Day Concept

The Peugeot 1007 is an innovative mini MPV produced by the French carmaker since 2004. It is based on the Peugeot 207 and Citroën C3 platform and stands out for having two power sliding doors instead of traditional hinged doors to provide easier access in limited spaces and up hills. There is also the option to customize the vehicle's interior trim with the Cameleo pieces for a price of about €250 for a full set. Furthermore, Peugeot offers the "2-Tronic" semi-automatic transmission on the 1007, similar to the one they used in the Hudson Commodore of the 1950s, with the 1.4 L and 1.6 L petrol engines and 1.4 L diesel engines. Despite of its small size, the Peugeot 1007 can be a bit expensive, costing about €14,000 / £10,000. Engines
  • 1.4 L (1360 cc) TU3 I4, 75 PS (74 hp/55 kW) and 89 ft·lbf (118 N·m)
  • 1.4 L (1398 cc) DV4 HDi diesel I4, 67 PS (66 hp/49 kW) and 118 ft·lbf (150 N·m)
  • 1.6 L (1587 cc) TU5 I4, 110 PS (108 hp/81 kW) and 110 ft·lbf (147 N·m)
Trivia

The 1007 is the first regular car from Peugeot to have the "double zero" number in its name. In English speaking countries, it is properly referred to as the "ten-oh-seven", as "one-double-oh-seven" is taken, owing to the James Bond series having copyright to the phrase "double-oh-seven". In France it is marketed as the "mille-sept".
