Peugeot 307 CC

The Peugeot 307 is a small family car produced by the French Peugeot manufacturer since 2001. It was acclaimed as the 2002 European Car of the Year. History In 2000, the 307 Prométhée was revealed at the Mondial de l'Automobile. Its hatchback versions then were launched in Europe in the following year, taking the place of the celebrated 306. The latter had marked success when it came out in 1993, grabbing the title as the best car in its class until the fourth-generation Volkswagen Golf and the second-generation Opel/Vauxhall Astra arrived in 1997. The 306 stayed on top for four years after its launch, but had to give up its lead to the new arrivals. Its throne was replaced by the Ford Escort in 1998, which was eagerly awaited after the notable improvement in design seen with other Ford models, such as the Mondeo, Puma, Ka, and the 1996 Fiesta. With the release of the 1998 Ford Focus that boasted superior performance, the 306 completely lost its grip and was five years out of date when a suitable replacement was still three years away.
