Peugeot 308 GT THP 175
Peugeot will launch two new 308 models at this year's Geneva Motor Show, the practical 308 SW and the powerful 308 GT THP 175. To match the engine's dynamic properties, the 308 has been redesigned with a lower front bumper panel, rear spoiler and lowered ride height. Its interior also features an aluminium gear knob, foot pedals and a new steering wheel.
The engine, a 1.6 litre turbo-charged THP 175 bhp petrol, is designed in collaboration with the BMW Group and develops 175 bhp at 6000rpm and a generous torque output of 180 lb ft (or 195 lb ft with overboost) at only 1600 rpm, offering excellent in-gear acceleration. Despite the enhanced power of the engine, combined fuel consumption of 37.1 mpg and CO2 emissions of 180 g/km are 10% lower than those of the 307 2.0 litre Feline 180.
