Peugeot Flux Concept 2007 posters

Peugeot Flux Concept

Mihai Panaitescu's concept car, Flux, was declared the winner of the 4th Peugeot design competition. The challenge themes were P.L.E.A.S.E. Innovate!, which entailed designing a car that would give universal pleasure by adapting to different lifestyles. This competition resulted in more than 4,000 project submissions by web-based designers all around the world. Flux achieved the most appropriate representation of the theme; its lightweight and efficient design, as well as the simplicity and eco-friendliness of the car makes it accessible to everyone and generates ultimate driving pleasure. To appreciate the design, the jury was chaired by Frédéric Saint-Geours, General Manager of Automobiles Peugeot, and a mix of Peugeot representatives, Xbox and web-based people voted online. Peugeot has unveiled Flux at the Geneva show and will be featured again in Frankfurt. Flux will be presented in a full-scale model at Peugeot's exhibition space and also as a game in Xbox 360's PGR 4. This serves as the two most amazing prizes of the competition. The 4th design contest witnessed more projects submissions (4,029 compared to 3,800 in the 3rd competition) by people from 113 countries, affirming its international appeal.
