Peugeot HYbrid3 Evolution Concept
At the 2009 Milan International Cycle and Motorbike Show, Peugeot will unveil a new scooter concept – the Peugeot HYbrid3 Evolution. This pioneering concept is characterised by its three-wheel drive capability, high performance (36 kW / 49 bhp) and its ability to produce only 48 g/km of CO2 in hybrid mode, or zero in electric mode. Visitors to the show will be able to experience this revolutionary concept from 10 to 15 November.
Positioned between the scooter and car markets, the Peugeot HYbrid3 Evolution is a roofless version of the Peugeot HYmotion3 Compressor Concept, which was presented at the 2008 Paris Motor Show. Developed by Peugeot Motorcycles and the Automobiles Peugeot stylists and engineers, this concept-scooter is designed to satisfy a variety of customer needs.
Featuring an electric motor in front of each wheel and a naturally aspirated engine at the rear, it uses hybrid technology solutions to achieve 3-wheel drive capability.
