This electric vehicle, developed in collaboration with Mitsubishi Motor Corporation (MMC), features lithium-ion batteries that are rechargeable in six hours and up to 80% capacity within thirty minutes. With a maximum power output of 47 kW (64 bhp) and a torque of 180 Nm, it provides users with reliable performance and a maximum speed of 130 km/h. In addition, it has a standard European cycle operating range of 130 km, making it suitable for urban environments. The Peugeot iOn Concept, which will debut at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show, carries on the legacy of the Peugeot 106 from 1995-2003, remaining as the world's leading manufacturer of zero-emission cars. Supported by its history, the Lion Brand intends to stay on the frontline of the electric vehicle market with the goal of launching the Peugeot iOn at the end of 2010.
