Pininfarina Sintesi Concept

Pininfarina's Sintesi concept car embraces ideas and solutions for the vehicle of the future, three years after the company's Birdcage 75th. Chairman and CEO of the Group, Andrea Pininfarina, proudly declared that the Sintesi "is not only a testament to the creativeness of our design team, but it reiterates our historical ability to anticipate stylistic and technological solutions that we will see in the cars of the future." The Sintesi is a 4 door, 4 seats sports car with a unique and innovative approach: it takes into account the passengers first and then shapes the mechanicals to give the car form. This "Liquid" Packaging style has significantly improved weight distribution, lowering the centre of gravity and significantly aiding its driving dynamics. Nuvera at Pininfarina's disposal has developed the Quadrivium Fuel Cells system, allowing for the configuration of four fuel cells near the wheels. The increased passenger space and sporty, elegant profile with a tapered and aerodynamic design (Cd = 0.27) is enabled by the modular design of the fuel cells, along with the batteries and an advanced overall electronic architecture (developed with PI Shurlok).
