The new Porsche 911 Carrera GTS is set to ascend to the pinnacle of the Carrera model series with a power output of 408 hp, outstanding vehicle dynamics and sporty equipment. Boasting 23 hp more than the 911 Carrera S, the new GTS - available as Coupé and
Cabriolet - comes with a 3.8-litre engine and is placed between the 911 Carrera S and the 911 GT3 with 435 hp. Despite the added sportiness, the GTS nonetheless offers the economic advantages of Porsche Intelligent Performance, resulting in no additional fuel consumption than the Carrera S in the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC). Additionally, this top sports car is available at an attractive price due to the extensive standard equipment.
Optically and technically, the GTS is distinguished from other Carrera models with its 44 millimetre wider body of the AWD models including wider track and classic rear-wheel drive, and is further styled by 19-inch RS Spyder centre-mount wheels with high-gloss finish rim flanges and 305/30 ZR 19 tyres on the rear axle in addition to a SportDesign front apron with spoiler edge in black, special black sideskirts, and Carrera GTS logotype in black or silver. For the interior, the GTS is equipped with sports seats featuring black Alcantara centre sections, making black the dominating colour of the sporty interior with the material being used in areas such as the new three-spoke SportDesign steering wheel, gear and handbrake levers, and the area between the tailpipes in the rear.
